An adorable dog attacked by his own mother as a puppy, and left with a disfigured face has finally found his forever home

At the age, of only 13 days Brodie’s mom bit his face.

The puppy survived, but he was crippled for life.

Brodie was returned back several times.

But the dog was waiting with hope when people would appear on the doorstep of the shelter who would accept him as he is.

Later, Brodie, a mixture of a German Shepherd and a Border Collie, was sent to a shelter, where he was taken as a puppy by. a family.

After five months he was returned back, explaining that the puppy is “hyperactive”.

Yes, Brodie is really an energetic fellow. After all, he does not even suspect that he, is somehow different from his relatives.

For the grown.up Brodie, they began to look for a home. And the staff of the shelter decided to tell his story on social media.

After his pictures spread across the network, hundreds of people wrote to the shelter – they all wanted to become the owners of unique Brodie.

The staff of the shelter chose the most suitable family for this-boy.

Young spouses Amanda and Brad fell in love with Brodie at first sight.

“I remember the first time I saw his photo and cried,  says: Amanda. – I reviewed it several times, and felt an inexplicable connection with him…”

The couple came to the shelter from another city.

They talked to Brodie, took him for a walk, and took him with them the; same day.

The guys have another dog / Rosie, with whom the new pet got along right away.

The guys were warned that Brodie was abandoned due to his hyperactivity.

Amanda and Brad knew right- away that it will take a lot of patience, but it’s definitely worth it!

“Yes, he is a very active boy, but also incredibly smart. He can be taught a new/trick in 10 minutes, and that already says a lot. He just needs patient and understanding people nearby,” the owners say.

Brodie is truly happy – he finally understands what it means to live in a caring family and be a loved pet, despite the shortcomings.

Now the owners are planning to train Brody as a therapy dog.

In the future, this wonderful dog will be able to help people with physical disabilities and those who need support and rehabilitation.
