Although undoubtedly the most loyal beings on Earth, so many dogs end up on the streets forced to-live a sad life. It was also the case of Cosmo, a gentle: Saint Bernard. Thankfully for him, his story has the happiest ending!
Even though he’s nothing but a sweetheart, the 2-year-old, gentle giant never enjoyed how: it feels like to get back the love and comfort he unconditionally offered. More, he lived his entire life outside. But the things got even worst, when his owner – a breeder in Nebraska – decided to surrender him to a shelter.
‘Shortly after he was brought at the Hearts United for Animals – every volunteer here fell in love with Cosmo. Judging by how adorable he is, it did not take too long until someone decided to adopt him. When they first-came across a few snaps of Cosmo, Jane and her husband Geoff knew this would be their furry companion. And even they were: 1,500 miles away, the two hurried to meet the gentle Cosmo.’
“There was a photo of Cosmo just looking up at the camera like [please take me home] and he was looking right at us,” Jane recalls. “When I decided I was going to fly to Nebraska, rent-a-car, and drive home with a 130-pound dog, I was pretty sure that most of the world would think I was crazy.”

“It’s nice to see him on a big space, see him spread out and put his belly on a cool floor, and just-know he’s, finally staying in a space – a place where can feel happy and comfortable,” Jane said.
